Raymond L. Fecteau, 89, of Nashotah passed away after a short illness on August 23, 2018.
Raymond was born on June 21, 1929 in Ladysmith, WI son of Jed & Mary (Fardy) Fecteau. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Gloria (Brooks) Fecteau, his daughter, Jill (Ron) Peterson, grandchildren Tami (Andrew) Glaser, Tina (Jeremy Johnson) Riggs, Jamie Peterson, Steve Fecteau II, Cory Fecteau and Coley (Brian Wisniewski) Fecteau, great grandchildren Aly Fecteau, Maggie and Jake Riggs. Also survived by brother in law Bud (Dode) Brooks and sister in law Grace (Junior) Nicholson and many nieces and nephews.
After being in the US Army and National Guard he worked in the grocery business for over 50 years. He worked at Dottie’s in Hartland after his retirement. He was a member of the Hartland Legion and recipient of the Presidential Award from the Land O Lakes Old Timers. He loved golfing with his friends and very proud of his three holes-in-one at Songbird Hills. He enjoyed spending time chatting with friends at Nashotah Clubhouse and Hartland Legion. His time spent with family was especially treasured.
He was the biggest fan of his great grandchildren’s baseball games!
He loved the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers and
never missed a game!
Preceded in death by his son, Steve Fecteau, son in law, Ron Peterson, and grandson in law, Brian Riggs. Also preceded in death
by his parents, Jed & Mary (Fardy) Fecteau, sister and brother in law, Gertrude (Clete) Thoma, brothers and sisters in law Chuck (June) Fecteau, Jack (Bobie) Fecteau, and Jim (Pat) Fecteau.
He never met a person he didn’t like and always greeted
everyone with his beaming smile.
He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him!
A celebration of Raymond's life will be held Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Hartland American Legion from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. with
Military Honors at 2:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association of Southeastern Wisconsin appreciated.
