Clarence R. Schwind "Cook"

Clarence R. Schwind “Cook” of Merton passed away on Saturday, 
May 12, 2018, at the age of 86.

Clarence served in the U.S. Army from 1949 to 1952, stationed in Alaska, during the Korean War. He earned an Associate Degree from MATC in electronics and was employed as an auto mechanic at Uptown for 40 years. Clarence was well known for his love of flying and motorcycles. After obtaining his aviator’s license he piloted 
flights for over 3000 skydivers. In addition, he personally jumped 
over 1000 times. He was the longtime director of MATC’s Motorcycle Safety Program receiving numerous awards from Gov. Scott Walker for his hard work. He was a lifelong faithful member of St. Charles Catholic Church. 

Clarence impacted many lives, was a mentor to all and will be missed by many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years Patricia 
and was the loving father of Joseph (Bonnie), Robert (Doreen), James, Thomas (Tammy), Debra (Tom), Daniel and his treasured dog Harley.
Further survived by his grandchildren, Alex, Brianna, Stephanie (Nate), Adam (Rachael), Aaron (Melissa), Christian, Chris, Andrea (Jamie), Charlie (Deya), Katie (Sam), 19 great grandchildren and many more friends and relatives.

Visitation will be at St. Charles Catholic Church, Hartland June 2, 2018 from 9:30AM-11:00AM. Mass at 11:00AM followed by lunch. 
Private burial will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
