He attended high school in Pecs at the Cistercian Fathers.

He played tennis competitively and served in the Hungarian army until 1957. After the Hungarian Revolution, he escaped on February 1, 1957 to the then Yugoslavia. After a few months in a refugee camp, he went to Vienna, Austria. Then he lived for a year in the Netherlands in the Hague. In 1958, he moved to Leuven (Louvain), Belgium, where he attended the university for a while. On September 4th, 1963, he arrived to the United States, landing in New York City. Peter then came to Milwaukee where he had friends who were also from Belgium. He worked at the Ladish Tanning Company, Wehr Steel, and Huebsch Originators while also working a second job at the Milwaukee Athletic Club. In 1965, he started to work for Dietz Electric, Schuster Electric, then back to Dietz Electric, and later for Stoiber Electric until retirement.

He loved life, sports, liked to sing and dance. Peter skied with the Vagabond Ski Club with his beloved wife Carol. They also played tennis together and traveled to many interesting places. Peter was a member of the Vagabond Ski Club since 1977. He organized and led ski trips, sports events, and cultural outings. He was a board member for 6 years, one of them as President of the club. He loved God, his native country Hungary, and the United States. Peter despised Socialistic and Communistic Ideology.

Peter loved his wife Carol (“the best part of my married life”) and his children Peter, Nicole, and granddaughter Gloria, as well as many many good friends and relatives. And naturally, the Green Bay Packers too…
