On January 23, 2019, Elaine was lifted up on
eagle’s wings to her Heavenly Father, where
he had prepared a room for her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, LeRoy Fiedler, parents Edna and Edward Lutz, and Brother Raymond Lutz (Emilie). Beloved Mother of Jay (Gwynn) and Polly J. Mueller. Grandmother of Dawn Rybarski-Fischer (Eric), Dana Fiedler, and Amy L. Savageau (Mark). Great Grandmother of Lexie, Jake, David, Richard, John Tyler, Hannah, Wyatt, and Greer. Elaine is further survived by her sister Jean Lutz-Sternlieb, by other relatives, and many dear friends.
Elaine was born on April 23rd, 1925 to Edna and Edward Lutz of Milwaukee. She lived in Milwaukee until 1940 and moved to Hartland. She graduated from Hartland High School where she met the love of her life, LeRoy. Elaine attended Carroll College and continued on to Prospect Hall where she graduated earning her secretary degree. Upon graduation, she worked as a secretary at Remington Rand during the war.
Elaine married LeRoy on April 6, 1946, they were married for 60 wonderful years. She was a homemaker and loving mother. Elaine enjoyed knitting, sewing, traveling, entertaining, and spending time with her family and friends. She worked at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital as a volunteer and was on the Hospital Auxiliary Board. Elaine was a member of School House Players and Woman’s Club of Hartland. She also received her certificate in Medical Librarian Science. Elaine served as the librarian for Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and the Oconomowoc Public Library. After her retirement, she went on to serve as the librarian for the Hartland Public Library. Elaine was a faithful member of Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church where she participated in the senior group, bible studies, and performed volunteer work.
Elaine will always live on in the memories of our hearts!
Visitation will be held at 10:00am on February 2, 2019 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am at Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church located just north of Hwy 16 on Hwy 83, 31385 West Hill Road, Hartland. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
