Conrad Elba McGinnis

Conrad Elba McGinnis of Town of Merton, passed to eternal life on Wednesday 
July 15, 2015 at Angels Grace Hospice, Oconomowoc at the age of 85.  

Conrad was a sheet metal Superintendent for the Wenniger Company for 30+ years. He worked on many major projects in the Milwaukee and Waukesha area including GE, Froedert Hospital, Bradly Center, Waukesha Memorial, Waukesha Court house and many, many more.  

Conrad was a veteran of the Korean War where he received a Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement and bravery in combat against the enemy.  

Married to Betty Jane Carver in 1956, Conrad is preceded in death by one son Tab, his mother, father and one brother. Survivors include his wife Betty; a daughter Tracey and her fiancé Bruce, and a son Kevin and his wife Sherri a brother-in-law Tom Carver, and many friends.

Conrad was a master of many trades. He created hand-made furniture, crafted metal replacement parts for antique motorcycles and automobiles and was able to fix almost anything that was brought to him. For years Conrad and his Wife Betty raised prize winning beef cattle on their mini-farm in Merton. One of his most enjoyable times was having a cigar and beer with his Wednesday night “Gathering” that have met for years and continue to meet in his “man cave” in Merton.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday July 22, 2015 at 
the Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave Hartland WI 
from 10:00 AM until the 
Funeral Service at 11:30 AM.  

If desired, memorials should be given to Angels Grace Hospice, Oconomowoc 
or the Alzheimer Foundation in lieu of flowers.
